My career is going haywire and my personal life is in disarray. I need to take stock of my life and give it direction.
Yet I am so delirious with joy that everyone thinks I have gone crazy. May be I have because I now know first hand that miracles do happen. Seriously, life can change you in the most unexpected ways. I can't thank God enough :)

P.S. To come to think of it, for your career to go haywire, you at least need to have a job. I quit my job around two months ago... Ha ha!

Listen, real poetry doesn't say anything, it just ticks off the possibilities. Opens all doors. You can walk through any one that suits you.
And that is why poetry appeals to me so much - because it is so eternal. As long as there are people, they can remember words and combination of words. Nothing else can survive a holocoast but poetry and songs.
If my poetry aims to achieve anything, it's to deliver people from the limited ways in which they see and feel.

Today I finally went and took membership in a video library. I have been wanting to do that for a while. But instead, till today, I was wasting my money on all boring memberships like the Gym and Yoga classes. This particular video library has got a great collection and I picked up Casablanca and Eat, Pray & Love.
I watched Casablanca and totally loved it. Being an avid fan of modern cinema, I was a bit apprehensive about picking it up. I called up Amrita, Rucha, Rucha's sis and my sister just to ensure that it is an ok movie. But only Amrita answered my call :p And now after watching that movie, I realize that I was so ignorant to doubt that Casablanca would just be an OK movie? It is bloody awesome. No wonder it is one of the most beloved movies ever made in the history of cinema. And to come to think of it, there is nothing extraordinary in the movie. It is the simple things that makes the movie extraordinary What makes it so good is the warmth and the dialougues. I am in love with the script. Every dialogue is quotable.  And the title of today's post is a tribute to the movie :)
And to all those people who haven't watched Casablanca yet - Go watch it. The movie has got some peculiar magic which would make the viewer feel like watching the movie again and again. And it will stay that way AS THE TIME GOES BY ;)

For the past one month I was worried silly thinking that I have gone emotinally bankrupt and since yesterday I am tensed whether I am slowly turning into a basket case... ha ha. With me, you just never know what's around the corner.

We are the world champions. Woot. I am so happy. Mwuaaaah Men in Blue. You did us so proud. Mad Mad respect to the team. Now, if Manchester United wins the premiership title this year, that would be an icing on the cake :-)

Bleeding Blue

India is playing Pakistan today in Mohali at the Semi Final of Cricket World Cup and a billion of us are bleeding blue. Mad respect to Sachin Tendulkar. You make us so damn proud.
Congratulations to Team India for reaching the semis and I promise that I won't make even a single negative remark of our performance no matter what the result is. I am going to be a true supporter - the one who never gives up on the team during the good and bad days. It's going to be a herculian task considering  that Nehra is playing. But I will still not hurl any abuse. Promise. Now make us proud again.

I am back after a short hiatus. And I am not going to use the most overused line here "So much has happenned in the past few days". Cuz honestly, things are the same. Nothing has changed. Well, I did try to move on to a new url. But trust me, I would rather be messing around than having an un-messy fab life. If that makes any sense to you. Moreover, this blog and I go back a long way. We have so much history (the 3 yr old archive is the proof). And most importantly, I have more followers here :p

Apart from this, I don't really have much to say now. Things have kinda stagnated at my end. I don't have much to do except for when it comes to work. I want to take stock of my personal life and give it some direction and meaning. Build new bridges, redress the old ones. You know, just spice up my life, Mess around ;)
